HOW DO I BOOK?
The best way to book your teepee rental is to fill out the contact form on this website. We will respond within 24 hours.
- Your rental date is not confirmed until your deposit is paid and the contract signed.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT AND WHEN DOES THE BALANCE NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL?
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to your rental date. Failure to pay 7 days prior will result in cancellation of your rental. Your rental is not booked until your deposit has been paid and the contract has been signed. You may add additional teepees, if they are available, but teepees cannot be subtracted after the initial booking.
ARE THERE ANY TRAVEL EXPENSES OR ADDITIONAL COSTS?
There is a travel fee added onto deliveries / pick-ups that are not located in Simi Valley, CA.

There is a $50.00 fee to deliver and pick-up or set-up and take down, by stairs.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Sugar Lagoon does not refund cancellations. If your slumber party rental needs to be rescheduled due to an illness, family emergency, or other reason, we will reschedule your rental to a new date and time and your deposit will be applied to your new rental. Deposits are non-refundable.
It is your responsibility to make all of your campers aware of the slumber party rental date change.
CAN I SET-UP THE TEEPEES IN MY BACKYARD?
Unfortunately, no. Our tents are indoor only tents. Our fabrics are not waterproof and there are several areas in our community where wild animals like to roam - ie. mountain lions, raccoons, etc. We bring the outdoors in and you have the experience of camping with the safety and warmth of being in your own home.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED?
The overall width of the teepee with twin sized blowup mattress is 44"wide by 75"long. The teepees can be set up next to each other or opposite of each other, depending on the space. Please make sure you have an open area, a clutter free room, and a safe space for the campers to sleep. It is your responsibility to make sure there is enough space to accommodate the teepees with an open and unobstructed walkway to allow campers to get in and out of the teepees safely.
HOW LONG IS THE RENTAL PERIOD FOR THE TEEPEES?
Our DIY and Standard packages are for a one night rental. Each additional night is $25 per teepee/per night.
WHAT AGE CHILDREN ARE THE TEEPEES GEARED TOWARDS?
Our teepee rentals are great for children of most ages and even adults! They're great for kid's birthday parties, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, and adult birthday parties too! They are not recommended for children under the age of 5, unless supervised at all times.
DO I NEED TO SUPPLY POWER?​
Yes, our air pump for the mattresses requires power.
DO WE NEED TO SUPPLY ANYTHING, BESIDES POWER?
Only your pajamas and your own pillows. For hygiene reasons, we do not provide pillows to rent.
DO I NEED TO WASH THE BEDDING AND CLEAN EVERYTHING?
No, you do not need to wash the bedding or clean anything. We will handle the laundering of all linens, after they're collected. The sheets, mattress pad covers, blankets, and tent covers are all laundered before each party. All remaining items are wiped down with either disinfectant wipes or spray.
